  • Must possess experience with upper extremities. New graduates will be considered if they have completed at least one clinical rotation focusing on upper extremities.

  • Recommendation of treatment modifications to Occupational Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Conduct treatment sessions with patients
  • Educate patients and/or caregivers on their condition and prognosis
  • Explain exercises and therapies to patients
  • Ensure patient compliance with therapy attendance and care plan
  • Complete all necessary documentation for each visit
  • Update and discharge patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist
  • Follow therapist's care plan and communicate effectively regarding patient care
  • Supervise Therapy Technicians
  • Record patient progress and successes
  • Interact with patients of diverse backgrounds
  • Maintain case management lists
  • Assist in marketing efforts as needed
  • Track individual statistics and complete productivity reports
