Respiratory Therapist Extern, Clovis NM

Overview

Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, NM is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist Extern to join our team. This role is ideal for someone currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory program and looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive healthcare environment. The Respiratory Therapist Extern will perform routine respiratory therapy responsibilities, including administering and monitoring oxygen therapy for patients, under the supervision of experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• High school plus trade or vocational school in Respiratory Care. Requires New Mexico Respiratory Care training permit
• BLS certification required at time of hire
• Less than one year experience in Respiratory Care.
• Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician ( CRTT ) eligible or currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory program
• BLS certification required at time of hire
