An opportunity is available for a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide on-site services in a supportive K-12 school environment located in Covington, GA. The position is available for the upcoming school year and can accommodate both full-time and part-time applicants.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to students, tailored to their individual needs.
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to create and implement effective therapeutic plans.
• Assess student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and progress.

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia state Physical Therapy licensure by start date.
• Experience in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in school-based therapy.
