An opportunity is available for a skilled Physical Therapist to provide services in a dynamic school environment. This position will focus on delivering direct therapy to a diverse group of students, fostering their physical development and helping them achieve their educational goals. Key responsibilities include working with a caseload of children from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, addressing a variety of physical needs and ensuring that each student receives the appropriate level of care.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical disabilities.
Provide direct therapy to students, utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to implement therapeutic strategies within the classroom.
Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all regulatory and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent.
Valid PT licensure in the state of Idaho.
Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the diverse needs of students.
