Specializing in Neurological/Brain Injury Rehabilitation through home and community-based services, Universal Institute’s customized rehabilitation programs have been established to enrich the lives of individuals who have been affected by acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, or other neurological conditions. Our services have been developed specifically for adults over the age of 21 who desire to live as independently as possible.

Universal Institute’s Residential Rehabilitation Program offers a client-centered, multi-disciplinary therapy platform upon which clients are encouraged to perform living tasks as independently as possible, based on their capabilities and confidence. Universal Institute’s single-family homes are located in residential neighborhoods where clients are encouraged to integrate into the community in which they live. In addition to its residential program, Universal Institute offers additional programs and services including: Out-Patient Services, Structured Day Programs, and Respite Care.

Universal Institute has been accredited for a period of three years for its Home and Community Based Services and Residential Rehabilitation Programs. The latest accreditation is the third consecutive Three-Year Accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has given to Universal Institute.
