Named to honor Howard County’s legendary pioneer mother, Mrs. Dora Ann Roberts, the Dora Roberts Rehabilitation Center has been improving lives for 60 + years. Since its humble beginnings in 1961, the Center has been the source for quality rehabilitation services in Howard County. Due to an extensive level of support from the Dora Roberts Foundation, private individuals, the medical community, the civic and business leadership, the United Way and the community as a whole, the Dora Roberts Rehabilitation Center continues its mission so friends and family members can have what many take for granted: good health, mobility and maximum independence. And there is not a person in the community who is not familiar with someone who has benefited from the services provided at Dora Robert Rehabilitation Center. DRRC provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to everyone in need regardless of their ability to pay. All rehab services are provided on a sliding scale and many individuals receive the entirety of their care on a fee forgiven basis. The services provided at DRRC include physical therapy, speech, and wellness programs.

The therapists at Dora Roberts Rehab treat a range of physical impairments, temporary disabilities and permanent ones such as neurological disorders and injuries, recovery from stroke, birth defects, dizziness and imbalance, degenerative conditions such as arthritis, muscle weakness, sports injuries, post operative care and the list goes on.
