Mehta is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation with ACGME sub-specialization in pain medicine. His areas of expertise include orthopedic, spine, sports, and pain medicine. He has advanced expertise in interventional spine techniques and electro diagnostics. Dr. Mehta received his medicine degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. He then completed a physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at UMDNJ/Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation where he was chief resident. He went on to complete a pain medicine fellowship at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Mehta is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. Dr. Mehta is also a clinical assistant professor for the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UMDNJ- New Jersey Medical School.
