About the Position

• Set patients up on CPAP, BIPAP, and NHV therapy in office and in homes.

• Conduct ventilator checks and oxygen titration/evaluation for O2 patients on conserving devices and POCs.

• Provide patients with instruction on use of equipment and education on respiratory disease state.

• Setting up neonatal to adult patients on ventilators and performing monthly service checks while coordinating with local hospitals and referrals.

• Schedule all patient equipment set ups, follow ups, mask refits, etc.

• Keep detailed call logs of all phone communication, phone call attempts, and scheduled appointments.

• Instruct patients thoroughly on use of all Respiratory Equipment.

• Enter patient data into CPAP compliance tracking program.

• Follow up on patient progress, work to increase patient compliance.

  Qualifications for Success

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program, required.

• Respiratory Therapist license in the corresponding state, required.

• One year in DME, preferred.

• Valid drivers license.

• Ability to travel to patients in the New Windsor, Poughkeepsie, and Pomona areas.

  Compensation & Schedule

• $38.00 - $42.00 per hour, dependent on experience

• Monday Friday, 16 - 24 hours per week

  Location

• New Windsor with travel to satellite offices in Pomona and Poughkeepsie.
