Position Highlights:
Part-Time, 24 Hours/Week
Hours: Tuesday/Thursday/Friday - 8 hour shifts 7:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities
The Respiratory Therapist provides sleep therapy equipment and other respiratory devices. This position provides education to patients in the office for patients suffering from various forms of sleep apnea and other respiratory conditions. This part-time position in our Ogden location assisting our Duly patients with their Cpap therapy. Duties to include: setting patients up on therapy, troubleshooting and other duties as needed for department
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Setting up and programming sleep therapy equipment for various sleep disorders-requires being competent in various forms of airflow delivery and how they differ based on patients sleep disorder
- Assess patients going on CPAP therapy and troubleshoot patient compliance issues-this requires a working knowledge of Epic as well as three other operating systems that the RT will need to be able to competently and efficiently go between (AirView, ResMed ReSupply, Epic, DME)
- Properly inventory, maintain and clean all equipment per OSHA guidelines
- Provide other respiratory devices (nebulizers, acapella devices) to patients as well as education on use.
- Adherence to all other department policies and procedures
Qualifications
License / Registration / Certification
Current Illinois RCP license (RRT preferred)
Current CPR certification
Education
Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy required
Experience
Two to three years of DME/Home care experience is preferred but not required.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Time management and critical thinking skills are a must
- Being comfortable working on a computer and using various programs
- Having the ability to communicate effectively both spoken and written is critical
- Ability to work well in a group and be a strong team member
- Excellent service skills including compassion
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $24.00-36.00 with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
