Position Overview: Our beautiful 420 bed hospital in Lancaster CA is currently seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team.Job Objective:
Provide occupational therapy services for inpatient care, including assessments, treatment plans, and documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient progress and update care plans as needed. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care:
- Assess cognitive, ADL, and motor skills.
- Develop and implement treatment plans with measurable goals.
- Lead diverse therapy groups tailored to patient needs.
- Document assessments, progress, and updates per policies.
- Maintain effective communication with interdisciplinary teams and patients.
- Participate in team meetings, rounds, and patient care coordination.
- Education: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy;
- Experience: 1 year of clinical OT experience preferred but not required.
- Licensure: Current CA OT license and BLS certification.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to regulations, and maintain professionalism.
