Position Overview
The primary responsibility of this position is the teaching in the Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program for the Division of Occupational Therapy. Teaching will take place during the Summer semester of 2025 (June 2, 2025 through July 31, 2025). This is a 10%, part-time position. Teaching will occur with students in the Occupational Therapy Doctoral program. The work assignments will be based on the curriculum of the Occupational Therapy Doctoral program and the teaching needs of the Division.

Perform lab assistant activities for OCCTHER 6140: Core Skills
Review course materials in preparation for lab activities.
Deliver lab course material in conjunction with course instructor.
Respond to student questions outside of class via email.
Meet regularly with the course instructor, students, and other parties as required.
Additional Information:Education and Experience RequirementsRequired: Occupational Therapy Doctorate Degree
Experience in at least one occupational therapy clinical setting .
Desired: Experience in occupational therapy teaching, training, and/or mentoring teaching; Teaching experience that demonstrates a record of intentional teaching practice including (a) creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all learners, (b) using new techniques, activities, and types of learning, (c) promoting diversity of thought, and (d) promoting open-minded exploration.

Faculty Defined
Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) - Persons with titles of assistant professor-clinical, associate professor-clinical and professor-clinical. These faculty will have earned a doctor of medicine (MD), doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field. Clinical faculty members are not eligible for tenure and are appointed for terms of three to five years. They may be reappointed to successive terms. Their principal career focus is the delivery of exemplary clinical care, and may include teaching, and/or research.
Tenure-Track faculty (regardless of rank) - Persons with the titles of assistant professor, associate professor, or professor who are eligible for tenure or who have obtained tenure. These faculty will have earned a doctorate (PhD), Doctor of Medicine (MD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study. Their primary career focus centers on research, service, and teaching. Tenure-track faculty with MD or MD/PhD degrees may also be involved in clinical care.
Research Faculty (regardless of rank) - Persons with the titles of research assistant professor, research associate professor, or research professor. These faculty will have earned a doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study. Research faculty members are not eligible for tenure and are appointed for terms of one to five years. Their principal career focus is research.
