VocoVision is teaming up with an Ohio school district to seek out a Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This opportunity allows you to deliver online services to students dealing with various communication challenges, all while enjoying the freedom of an independent contractor.

Position Overview

• Independent contractor status (1099)
• Focus on K-12 students with mild to moderate speech-related issues
• Full-time or Part-time hours available
• Utilization of Zoom Plus platform (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
• School day hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM

SLP Job Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Active SLP license in Ohio
• Two years of relevant experience, preferably in a school environment

SLP Job Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations
• Provide remote therapy sessions and interventions as per IEP requirements
• Develop IEPs based on assessment outcomes
• Utilize online tools, specifically Zoom Plus, for evaluations and therapy sessions
• Collaborate with on-site educators and professionals to meet student needs
• Attend virtual IEP meetings with families and faculty
