Rehab Director - Occupational Therapist - OT - Full Time float

A REHAB DIRECTOR (Occupational Therapist / OT / OTR) is currently available at our center in Wayland, MA. With a max capacity of 40 residents, the center staff are tight knit and work collaboratively to ensure residents receive excellent care. The center specializes in the care of long-term residents with Dementia, but also has 4 beds available for sub-acute care. This position is ideal for a candidate looking to start out in a management position as it combines the opportunity to provide direct care while overseeing a smaller program. Mentorship can be provided to assist with development of leadership and customer service skills. Management experience is not needed however you will need to have one year experience as a clinician . To gain full-time hours (30 hours), Rehab Director will need to float to other local locations.

A successful Rehab Director will:

• Ensure efficient and effective operations
• Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
• Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
• Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
• Provide occupational therapy services as needed.
• Be a licensed occupational therapist or license eligible in the state where employed
• Must have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
