Physical Therapist

Motion Performance Therapy has an immediate career opportunity for a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting in Sunnyvale or Kaufman Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for any therapists who wish to work closely with orthopedic specialists to gain knowledge and excel in the field. Your resonsibilities include but are not limited to below:

• Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and developing an age-approriate treatment plan
• Teaching patients how to properly use therapeutic excercise techniques
• Providing manual treatment technuqies to promote healing
• Assisting patients with the use of equiptment such as wheelchairs, walkers or canes
• Advising the patient and family about treatment options and exercises
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure continuity of care

As a Physical Therapist , you have the flexibility of your schedule with in reason, and must have a Texas Physical Therapist License in active and good standing. This position may also perfom other assigned duties and must be able to follow and adhere to the practices, policies, and procedures described in the company handbook set by the management at the Dallas Orthopedic and Shoulder Institute. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Master's degree or doctoral (DPT) degree from an accredited physical therapy 

Experience: Previous outpatient physical therapy experience preferred but not required

Licensure/Certification: Pass all necessary exams and has Texas Physical Therapist License in good, active status
